5 Dead, Nearly 40 Injured In Terrorist Attack Near UK Parliament
Five people were killed and about 40 injured in London on Wednesday after a car ploughed into pedestrians and a suspected Islamist-inspired attacker stabbed a policeman close to Britain's parliament. The dead, in what police called a "marauding terrorist attack," included the assailant and the policeman he stabbed. The other three victims were among those hit by the car as it sped across Westminster Bridge before crashing into railings just outside parliament. Prime Minister Theresa May condemned the attack as "sick and depraved". 4 Dead, 20 Injured In Terrorist Attack Near UK Parliament
Around 20 people were injured and four reported dead in London on Wednesday after a car crashed into pedestrians near the British parliament and an assailant stabbed a policeman in what police called a terrorist incident. Four people - including the attacker and the policeman he stabbed - were killed in the attack, they said.

Navjot Singh Sidhu can continue doing television but his ministry may need to change if there's conflict of interest, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said today on what is becoming his first headache in less than a week in power. Mr Sidhu, who became a minister last week, has made it clear that he intends to juggle his new job and his TV career. Amarinder Singh told reporters that while he had no objection to Mr Sidhu sticking to his TV shows "if it is constitutionally permissible", he was waiting for advice from Attorney General Atul Nanda, the state's top lawyer. Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Committee of Administrators (COA) chairman Vinod Rai told NDTV that they will ensure that the board's interest is not subordinate to anybody when it comes to matters in the International Cricket Council (ICC). Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and Murali Vijay were on Wednesday promoted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to Grade A after the Committee of Administrators (CoA) finalised the annual players contracts for the period starting from October 2016. Pujara and Vijay were in Grade B last year while Jadeja was demoted to Grade C in 2015-16 after his poor run in international cricket. Maharashtra government has issued an ultimatum to its doctors, who have been on mass casual leave since Sunday. The doctors, the government has said, will lose six months' salary if they don't report for work by 8 pm. Around 3,500 doctors have been protesting since Sunday, demanding more security at the workplace after their colleagues in a couple of hospitals got attacked by the relatives of patients.
