TINY TIPS - Tape Wire Connections Together TINY TIPS - Tape Wire Connections Together
Nothing is more frustrating than spending a lot of time hooking up your electronics in small, tight, hard-to-reach places in your fuselage, only to have them get disconnected. Try a little tape. Well maybe not Duct tape (the cure all) on this one, but how about Masking tape?

Crash, Then Fly, The FMS P-47 980mm Razorback Crash, Then Fly, The FMS P-47 980mm Razorback
O.K. so we call it Crashproofing (Carbon Fiber Reinforcement) -- it doesn't mean we like to crash planes. In fact we prefer NOT to crash. But crashes happen and it's nice to have a little "fun insurance." This is Steve's first real landing gear flight of the season. The culprit?? Weak transmitter batteries. Ya just never know. . .

Q - Are Crashproofing Kits visible on the outside of the plane? Q - Are Crashproofing Kits visible on the outside of the plane?
A - No. Usually anyone looking at your plane can not even tell that there is a reinforcement kit installed. We drill the carbon fiber rods into the foam. With patching and touch-up paint, the kit is virtually invisible. You can tell by looking inside the fuselage. There are a few exceptions. The HawkFighter, for instance, has some carbon fiber strips that are installed on the exterior and if you opt for the nose plates and bands, you can see those on the outside too. They will look the same as the HawkFighters you see flown in our videos.
